C&O - STYLE
Recommended Attire: Alternative, Dressy Casual
Overview: The last time the four of us had dinner together at C&O, we got to talking about our "uniforms." We'll pick on Will - his includes denim/chambray button-downs and dark jeans. He owns seven or eight of these (almost identical) types of shirts, and has his favorite brands that he'll pay whatever the price for. The minute he described this outfit, we realized that whenever we picture Will, that's exactly what he's wearing. It's actually kind of a fun game: picture your close friends and family, one by one. What are they wearing? When they picture you, what are you wearing? That's the outfit that C&O needs. C&O wants you to be happy, comfortable and in your uniform.
No worries if super casual dress is your jam - C&O has a spot for everything. More formal dining is on the first and second floors, while downstairs at the bar and outside on the patio is ideal for a more casual clientele. Dress for yourself, have fun with it, and wear something comfortable: this is the place where you'll spend many happy hours.
Sidenotes:
- For the ladies: the building that houses C&O is old and was definitely not built with stilettos in mind. Steep stairs lead to the top dining room and to the lower-level bar oasis, so pick your kicks with a climb in mind (double rhyme, whatttt!).
- The staff at C&O has a unique, edgy vintage style that definitely adds to the restaurant's feel. This place finds its heart in its people, and their varied looks express their personalities.
